Code of Conduct - Kumaraguru College of Liberal Arts & Science (KCLAS)

KCLAS’s Code of Conduct is to promote a positive, inclusive environment that will value consciousness, encourage innovation, appreciate excellence, and practice sustainability. The Code of Conduct is rooted to the institute’s belief system and moral values. The purpose of the code of conduct is to foster quality academic development amongst the study community. Following the code of conduct will make them self-resilient and will transform them to become global leaders.

The Code not only stresses on holistic development while in the campus but also for an individual who graduates after completing the course as it is meant to facilitate and support student understanding of their roles and responsibilities within the institute and the global community.

All members of the K-Community are responsible for sustaining the highest ethical standards of the institute, and of the broader communities in which it functions by adhering to the code of conduct. The institute values honesty, trust, fairness, respect and responsibility and strives to integrate these values into its teaching, research and business practices. It is the intent of the Code of Conduct to maintain Ethics and to protect academic freedom, a collegial atmosphere for teaching and scholarship and to advance the mission of the institution
