The Fine Arts Association’s purpose is to connect with anyone interested in any form of 2-D or 3-D Fine Arts, such as painting, drawing, sculpting, sewing and more. Its main objective is to inculcate the idea of imagination in each individual. It is established in such a way to bring out the talents within each individual and make them realize their excellence in the specific field of arts. FAA conducts workshops and exhibitions throughout the year. Any and all Fine Arts enthusiasts are welcome!
Artistic dance education serves to stimulate conscious understanding of the language of movement and to develop aesthetic knowledge and skill in movement expression. Exposure in the art of dance provides students with deep, thought-provoking experiences that combine many art forms and disciplines. Dance Club is a student-run organization that allows students to continue their love for dance at KCLAS. Whether you are a complete beginner or a competitive dancer, we offer classes that fit your experience level!
Music Club is a student-run umbrella organisation comprising of a number of student-run music groups. All the groups are open to any ability, and no auditions are necessary. The club is a social,relaxed and friendly way of playing music while meeting some great people! offers opportunities for music lovers to share, improve and experiment with music. Lessons for guitar, drums, keyboard, singing and guest musicians are just some of the great things available to members.
The KCLAS Photography club along with Studio KCT engages the creative passions through exploring and experiencing the world through photography. It also offers to study and practice hi-tech technology through photography The club organizes photo walks, photography workshops every year. It has a bunch of young shutter bugs who contribute in storing all the memorable happenings at KCLAS. The Studio is being set up with higher end DSLRs, a room lighted up perfectly with Classy editing softwares and systems.
The main aim of the Film Club is to explore the past and present of the “Seventh Art” and enable cinema-lovers to develop their critical capacities in cinematography. The Club delves deep into the characteristics, potential, and richness of cinematic language, running a unique series of film screenings for every month of the academic year. The Club also runs optional theoretical courses and workshops in specific areas every trimester (if you do not wish to participate in the workshops and courses, you can simply come along and enjoy the screenings). The activities organized by the Film Club are open to both members of Kumaraguru Institutions
