Kumaraguru Centre for Action and Social Equity (KCASE) - Kumaraguru College of Liberal Arts & Science (KCLAS)

Kumaraguru Centre for Action and Social Equity (KCASE), is a ‘Students Social Movement for a Humane and Just Society’ where student communities are sensitized on various issues affecting the poor and the marginalized sections of society. Established in 2018, KCASE works towards promoting the value of Social Responsibility amongst the student community. Obligations, integrity, noble thoughts, individual dignity, duties towards society, compassionate service to social justice and human relationships are inherent to KCASE. The student volunteers educe maximum knowledge and exposure from KCASE through their socially involved activities which moulds them to be a responsible citizen.

KCASE enables students to transform the Mission, Vision and Core values of the college in to the reality. KCASE provides a platform for student volunteers to serve the society in order to bring in social change.

The objectives of KCASE are:

To facilitate holistic development of students by involving them in social activities
To enable the underprivileged to access tangible results in their quality of life
To facilitate innovative practices in strengthening college – community relationship

Some of the programs of KCASE are

The programs of CSA are Rural Learning Centre, School library Project, Summer schools, Inter school competitions, Teacher enrichment Program, Rural Exposure Camp, Blood Donation Camps, Training on Vocational skills, Computer literacy programs, Awareness campaign on social issues, Celebration of Youth week, Road Safety and Wellbeing
