The interests of KCLAS in academics and our responses to business issues of importance in the region and nation underpin the reason for establishing a management research centre which offers PhD program.
The doctoral students will bring a critical perspective to issues of significance for businesses operating in an increasingly complex environment, a situation calling for astute responses to address the challenges and exploit new opportunities. While scholarly engagement within centre undoubtedly contributes to the academic vibrancy of KCLAS, helping to engender our culture as well as shape world-relevant and interesting learning and teaching agendas, our business research also contributes to a meaningful impact on the economy, society and the environment.
Research activities will be embedded in all domains – across Accounting, Finance and Informatics; Management; and Strategy, Marketing and Innovation. Further, the dedicated research centre will provide focal points for research in more specific areas and a network of internal and external collaborators for our academics.
